UK based pool manufacturer Compass Pools developed Infinity London, world’s only building to have a 360-degree infinity pool.

The concept pool will be made of cast acrylic instead of glass and will house 600,000-litre of water, all placed on top of a 55-story building.

Access to the 360-degree pool will be made through a rotating spiral staircase on the door of a submarine and will rise from the pool floor every time someone wants to get in or out.

“Architects often come to us to design rooftop infinity pools, but rarely do we get a say in the building design because the pool is usually an afterthought”, said Alex Kemsley, Compass Pool’s swimming pool designer, and technical director.

Infinity London would have a five-star international hotel on the top floors of the building and the pool will be used by the guests.
