Yesterday at Apple’s big developer conference, WWDC 2017, the Cupertino company revealed their new product; Siri-powered HomePod smart-speaker.
After Amazon and Google released their smart-speaker, now it’s Apple’s turn to launch their voice-activated home assistant speaker. The speaker is AI-powered and comes with the same Siri found on iPhones and iPads, and its believed to go against the Amazon Echo and Google Home.
Coming in black and white, the HomePod features a seven‑tweeter array, high‑excursion woofer, six‑microphone array and is powered by an Apple‑designed A8 chip.
The Apple HomePod will cost £349 and will be released in December in the US, UK and Australia.
